Fish & Fun Holiday Village
These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to all reservations made at Fish & Fun
Holiday Village, operated by Fish & Fun Oy (Business ID 2471234-4), Kaislantie 1–
6, 19260 Paaso, Finland.
By making a reservation, the guest confirms that they have read, understood, and
accepted these Terms & Conditions.

Reservations
Reservations can be made through the Fish & Fun Holiday Village website, booking
platforms, email, or other agreed booking channels.
A reservation becomes binding once: • The guest receives a booking confirmation,
and • The required payment or deposit has been completed.
The person making the reservation must be at least 18 years of age and is
responsible for all guests included in the reservation.
Fish & Fun Oy reserves the right to cancel reservations in cases of obvious booking
errors, fraudulent activity, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.

Prices
All prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise
stated.
Fish & Fun Oy reserves the right to correct pricing errors caused by technical
mistakes or system malfunctions. In such cases, the guest will be informed before
the reservation is confirmed.

Payment
Payment terms may vary depending on the booking channel.
Typically: • Full payment may be required at the time of booking, or • A deposit may
be required with the remaining balance due before arrival.
Failure to complete payment by the agreed deadline may result in cancellation of
the reservation.

Security Deposit
Fish & Fun Holiday Village reserves the right to require a security deposit before
arrival.
The deposit may be used to cover: • Damage to buildings, cabins, furniture,
equipment, or property • Missing items • Additional cleaning beyond normal
standards • Violations of house rules
If no damage or additional costs occur, the deposit will be returned within 7 days
after check-out.
If damages exceed the deposit amount, Fish & Fun Oy reserves the right to charge
the guest for additional costs.

Check-in and Check-out
Unless otherwise agreed:
Check-in: from 16:00 (4:00 PM) Check-out: by 12:00 (12:00 PM / noon)
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request but cannot be
guaranteed.
Late check-out without prior agreement may result in additional charges.

Maximum Occupancy and Visitors
Each cabin or cottage has a maximum occupancy limit, which must be respected.
Only guests included in the reservation may stay overnight.
Additional guests must be approved in advance and may incur additional charges.
Unauthorized guests or exceeding occupancy limits may result in extra charges or
termination of the stay without refund.

Parties and Events
Parties, events, or large gatherings are not permitted unless explicitly approved in
writing by Fish & Fun Oy.
Disturbing behavior, excessive noise, or disruption to other guests may result in
immediate termination of the stay without refund.

Quiet Hours
To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests:
Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 07:00.
Guests must respect other visitors and the surrounding environment.

Property Care and Guest Responsibility
Guests must treat cabins, buildings, equipment, and the surrounding environment
with care.
3Guests are responsible for: • Any damage caused during their stay • Proper use of
all facilities and equipment • Supervising children • Respecting nature and local
regulations
Fish & Fun Oy reserves the right to charge guests for repair, replacement, or
cleaning costs caused by misuse or negligence.

Fire Safety and Grilling
Fish & Fun Holiday Village is located in a natural forest and lakeside environment.
Fire safety rules must be strictly followed.
Guests must: • Use grills only in designated areas • Never leave open fire
unattended • Follow official fire warnings or restrictions issued by authorities
Improper use of fire or grills that results in danger or damage may result in
immediate removal from the property and liability for damages.

Sauna Use
Saunas must be used responsibly and according to provided instructions.
Guests must follow sauna safety guidelines and avoid misuse of equipment.
Damage caused by improper use of sauna facilities may be charged to the guest.

Lake, Dock, and Outdoor Activities
Swimming, boating, fishing, and other outdoor activities are undertaken at the
guest’s own risk.
Fish & Fun Oy is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal
belongings. Children must always be supervised near water and docks.
Natural terrain, water conditions, and weather conditions may vary and require
caution.

Environmental Protection
Fish & Fun Holiday Village is located in a sensitive natural lakeside environment.
Guests must: • Respect nature and wildlife • Dispose of waste properly • Avoid
damaging vegetation or natural areas
Illegal fishing, littering, or environmental damage may result in removal from the
property and liability for damages.

Pets
Pets are welcome unless otherwise stated.
A pet fee may apply.
Pet owners are responsible for ensuring that their animals do not cause damage,
excessive noise, or disturbance to other guests.
Guests must clean up after their pets.

Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside cabins and buildings.
Smoking indoors may result in additional cleaning fees and charges for damages.

Cleaning
Guests are expected to leave the accommodation in a reasonable condition.
If excessive cleaning is required, an additional cleaning fee may be charged.

Lost Property
Fish & Fun Holiday Village is not responsible for items left behind by guests.
If items are found, they may be returned upon request at the guest’s expense.

Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their reservation by notifying Fish & Fun Holiday Village in
writing (email or through the booking platform used).
The following cancellation conditions apply unless otherwise stated at the time of
booking: • Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival will receive a full
refund. • Cancellations made 7–14 days before arrival will be charged 50% of the
total booking price. • Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival, including
no-shows, will be charged 100% of the total booking price.
The cancellation date is determined by the time the cancellation notice is received.
Guests are advised to obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.

Illegal Activity
Illegal activity is strictly prohibited on the property.
Fish & Fun Oy reserves the right to terminate the accommodation agreement
immediately if illegal activity occurs and may notify authorities where necessary.
6No refund will be issued in such cases.

Force Majeure
Fish & Fun Oy is not responsible for cancellations or service interruptions caused by
circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including: • Natural disasters •
Extreme weather • Fire • Government restrictions • Utility outages • Other
unforeseeable events

Limitation of Liability
Fish & Fun Oy is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal
belongings. Guests use facilities such as saunas, docks, swimming areas, boats, and outdoor areas at their own risk. Fish & Fun Oy shall not be liable for accidents, injuries, or damages caused by: • natural conditions • weather • guest negligence • misuse of equipment • circumstances outside the company’s reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law. Guests are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate travel or personal
insurance during their stay.

Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Finnish law.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be resolved through negotiation. If
no agreement is reached, disputes will be handled by Finnish courts.
